"APPA" is USCG documented and the US Import Duty Tax HAS BEEN PAID. There is remaining Outremer factory warranty until May 2026.
The “new generation” OUTREMER 52, is positioned as the new standard in ocean cruising. To design it, the Outremer teams chose to combine the exceptional seaworthiness of the Outremer 51 with the latest developments that have made the Outremer 55 such a success.
With this new model, the Outremer shipyard offers the possibility of sailing on a boat combining exceptional levels of performance and comfort.
The new VPLP layout has been designed to make life on board easy in all circumstances, with the interior fittings designed by Franck Darnet Design.
Everything has been thought out to allow you to enjoy yourself in all the different situations you'll encounter on a long voyage: protected starboard cockpit with pendulum helm system, port side tiller, LARGE saloon and cockpit volume, spacious cabins with plenty of storage space.
Delivered in May 2024 from the OUTREMER shipyard, "APPA' is No. 12 in the series, and in the hands of its dual-captained owners, has made its initial ownership time a successful and comfortable cruising period..
"Appa" in its Owner's Version 3-cabin layout version, with the Free Space designed with 2 bunks and a home office desk, will offer flexibility to satisfy both the long-distance cruising family and a workable office setting if need be.

Here's an itinerary and some fun facts: Our Outremer 52 was delivered in late May 2024 in LGM France. We sailed along the French coast to Corsica and then back to the factory for initial scheduled warranty work as required per contract. Then we cruised directly back to Sardinia. Then the Balearic Islands, Gibraltar, Madeira. Then on to the Canary Islands where we joined the ARC Rally 2024. On leg one to Cape Verde we arrived 4th and on leg 2 to Grenada we arrived 3rd. We've now cruised up to Antigua. We're heading up through the Bahamas and into New England pending purchase offers. Fun facts: we used the S4 spinnaker a ton on the crossing. Top speed recorded: 22.4kn. 6,800nm traveled so far. We regularly hit an average of 9.5kn, peak of 14-16kn SOG daily running between Islands in the Caribbean. Just got the boat polished. Owners both have USCG Captains Masters 100ton licenses and worked as captains back in the day.
