O’Week and O’Cup 2024: a look back in pictures!

Since the introduction of Outremer Week in 2018, around 1,000 owners of Outremer catamarans have been trained. Once again this year, almost 100 owners gathered at La Grande-Motte from 12 to 17 May for this new edition of O’Week.

Between manoeuvres, navigation sessions, marine weather, medical care, motorisation, electronics and safety at sea, our participants acquired invaluable skills.

These training sessions were followed by round-table discussions hosted by Grand Large Services, who came to present the rallies, Tourmondeur and Incidences sailmakers.

The event was also an opportunity to meet Christine de LIZmer, a long-standing financial partner who helps future owners to finance their catamaran through leasing. For more information, visit their website.

From 17 to 20 May, after O’Week, we held the O’Cup 2024, a friendly regatta that we are delighted to organise every year. It’s always a very special moment for us, as it represents the culmination of what we want to create at Outremer: a community of travelling sailors.

This year, the O’Cup brought together 22 Outremer catamarans, crewed by owners, future owners, Outremer staff and partners. For two days, they battled it out on the water, all guided by the ever-present Loïck Peyron, who came specially to coach them and share his advice (and his good humour).

A big well done to the crew aboard Enjoy The Silence, an Outremer 55 launched last month, who finished top of the competition. Well done also to all those who shone on the water or thanks to their cooking or singing skills, since this year we’ve added the ‘singing contest’ to the ‘cooking contest’! (We had a good laugh!)
