We began our winning streak in November 2023 with the British Yachting Award 2023, a proud moment for everyone. The road to success continued with the European Yacht of the Year in the multihull category in February 2024, closely followed by the Multihull of the Year in the Sail Performance category in April 2024. Each award recognises the qualities of the Outremer 52, a catamaran acclaimed for its ease of handling, proven robustness, performance and comfort.

British Yachting Award 2023: Multihull of the Year
In November 2023, the Outremer 52 was honoured with the prestigious British Yachting Award, a coveted distinction in the UK yachting world. The Outremer 52 seduced the jury and the public with its sleek lines, stability at sea and ease of manoeuvring, standing out in a competition bringing together the best new multihulls on the market.
European Yacht of the Year 2024: Recognition on a European scale
The European Yacht of the Year trophy is awarded by a jury of nautical journalists from twelve different countries. The award, often dubbed ‘the Oscars of sailing’ by enthusiasts, evaluates boats according to precise criteria. The Outremer 52 shone in the multihull category thanks to its technological innovations and sustainable design. This award reaffirms the Outremer 52’s position as a leader in the offshore catamaran category.
Multihull of the Year 2024: a victory for Grand Large Yachting
In April 2024, at the opening of the International Multihull Show, the Outremer 52 was also crowned Multihull of the Year in the Performance Sailing category. This award is all the more significant in that it was also won by the Gunboat 72 in the Multiyacht category. This year, we won as a family!
We would therefore like to thank all those who have worked on the design of this boat and who work every day to help new travellers to realise their dream of a blue water cruising. Thanks to VPLP Design, naval architects who have been with us for many years, Patrick le Quément and Darnet Design, French designers who have contributed to developing an aesthetic and functional design, and of course a huge thank you to our teams on site who are doing a fantastic job.
An award-winning boat is above all a tribute to the work of dozens of people.
