The transatlantic race is firmly underway, and our Outremer crews are now fully engaged in the ARC+ and ARC rallies. After a dynamic start from the Canary Islands, each boat is charting its course out into the sea, some heading for Cape Verde, others straight out into the Atlantic.
This edition has already seen its first outstanding achievement: Enjoy the Silence, the Outremer 55, put in an exceptional performance by taking Line Honours in the first leg of the ARC+ 2025 with a crossing time of 4 days, 14 hours and 32 minutes.
An impressive 24-hour lead over the rest of the fleet, illustrating both the crew’s exemplary preparation and the boat’s seaworthiness.
Upon arrival, skipper Jean said:
“Taking part in this rally is the first step in fulfilling a childhood dream: sailing around the world on an Outremer. With this incredible glide and this wonderful team, I savored every moment of this first leg. Now, let’s have some fun in Cape Verde. Enjoy! “
