Marijke and Mark sail the Outremer 55 Great Circle.
Since its launch in 2021, the boat has sailed around the world with the GLYWO 500.
Her owners sent us a message while sailing close to Portugal.

After the official end of our circumnavigation with the GLYWO rally in the Azores we are heading for the birth place of our beautiful Outremer 55 again, where it all started in September 2021.
As if we didn’t have enough adventures we are currently following the coast lines of Portugal and Spain very closely in an attempt to avoid these playful black and white creatures that have been terrorising the waters lately.
We do have plenty of adventures and experiences to share. That is why after a stop in La Grande Motte we will continue for a couple of extra miles eastwards to the Cannes boat show. There will be room to talk about your project, the configuration of a blue water cruising boat, the preparation of a rally, the meeting of dream and reality, the good, the bad and the worst , and anything else you would like to discuss with us.
We will be able to present our book “2 captains on a catamaran” describing the last 5 years of our lives on water and close to the water.
