Thank you, La Grande-Motte

A special week with the Outremer community at the International Multihull Show.

The International Multihull Show in La Grande-Motte is always a meaningful moment for Outremer.

Located just a few steps from the historic shipyard where the Outremer adventure began over 40 years ago, this annual event brings together sailors, boat owners, prospective travellers, partners, journalists and members of the Grand Large Yachting family, all united by a shared passion: offshore sailing.

This year was particularly special.

On the Grand Large Yachting stand, visitors had the opportunity to step aboard two key models in the Outremer range: the new Outremer 48, presented in world premiere, and the Outremer 52, our best-seller and a reference for bluewater cruising.

The Outremer 48, presented in world premiere

For Outremer, the world premiere of the new Outremer 48 marks a significant milestone.

Designed for sailors seeking a clever, fast catamaran that is truly built for the open sea, the Outremer 48 embodies the brand’s spirit: useful performance, simplicity, reliability and the ability to go far with confidence.

Throughout the show, visitors were able to explore its lines, cockpit, living spaces and the many details designed to make long-distance sailing simpler, smoother and more enjoyable.

More than just a new model, the Outremer 48 embodies a clear vision of what a 48-foot bluewater catamaran can be: capable, agile, intelligent and ready for real cruising projects.

The Outremer 52, a reference for bluewater cruising

Alongside the Outremer 48, the Outremer 52 once again attracted a strong interest from visitors.

The brand’s best-seller, the Outremer 52 has established itself as the benchmark for sailors planning ocean crossings, family adventures or a long-term life-at-sea project.

Its success is based on a balance at the heart of the Outremer philosophy: performance without

unnecessary complexity, comfort without excess, and a real sense of safety at sea.

For many visitors, stepping aboard the Outremer 52 provided a better understanding of why this model holds such an important place in the range and why so many owners have chosen it for their long-distance sailing projects.

A week of conversations, visits and shared moments

Beyond the boats, La Grande-Motte was, above all, a week of meetings.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who came to visit us at the Grand Large Yachting stand, whether to discover the brand, plan a future project or simply have a chat with our teams. Every conversation counts, and every visit is an opportunity to better understand the aspirations, questions and expectations of those preparing to set sail for new horizons.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our owners and all members of the Outremer family who were present during the show; their presence means a great deal to us.

The stories they share, their experiences and the moments spent together on board are part of what makes the Outremer community so unique. These moments cannot be manufactured; they are built over time, through voyages, shared experiences and a common bond with the sea.

More than a boat show

For Outremer, a boat show is more than just a place to showcase boats. It’s an opportunity to meet the people behind the sailing projects: to listen, discuss, answer questions, and share what we’ve learnt from decades of long-distance cruising.

It is also an opportunity to bring together the various parts of the Outremer ecosystem: the shipyard, the sales teams, the service teams, the owners and partners, and the Grand Large Yachting community.

This human dimension is essential, and gives real meaning to the boats we build.

Outremer 57 No. 1: the beginning of a true sea story

There is a special moment at the shipyard: when a new model finally leaves the stage of plans, choices, and prototypes to become a boat in the making. Today, the Outremer 57 No. 1 is entering production.
