Créer en 1984 par Gérard Danson, OUTREMER s’est établi comme l’une des références pour les catamarans de grand voyage. Bateau de marins pour les marins, les OUTREMER se sont démarqué par leur qualités marines et un compromis exceptionnel entre le confort et les performances.
Lorsque l’on parle de ce compromis un modèle se démarque en particulier, l’OUTREMER 5X !
Fleuron de la marque, ce catamaran de 59/61 pieds aux lignes intemporels a fait rêver les amateurs de voiles. Elu bateau Européen de l'année par la presse en 2013, Roland Jourdain, grand navigateur au palmarès impressionnant l’a même choisi comme base pour son projet We Explore ! En autres mots, ce plan VPLP a marqué les esprits !
N°14 de la série, Mamaru Nui est sortie en 2016 des ateliers OUTREMER. Ce beau 5X V2 avec les étraves inversé a navigué jusqu’en Polynésie ou ses propriétaires ont passés de belles années.
À la suite d’un dommage au niveau des safrans en 2021, qui à entrainer une entrée d’eau, le bateau a eu un très gros refit entre 2022 et 2023 pour être remis dans une condition proche du neuf.
Moteurs, systèmes électriques, électronique et divers éléments furent complètement remplacer pour du neuf.
Magnifiquement équipé avec un mat carbone, des cloisons carbones, des barres franches en carbones ainsi qu’une belle garde-robe en Hydranet de chez ELVSTROM. Solent Auto-vireur, Genois, Parasailor, Gennaker, rien ne manque pour de belles navigations.
Pour le confort, un groupe électrogène Fischer Panda 1000iPMS, 1580 W de panneaux solaires, air conditionné, chauffage, Four Gaggenau,Plaque induction 4 feux, machine à laver 8kg (avec fonction séchage), lave vaisselle, Dessalator 100l/h
Enfin, le choix de l’électronique se passe de commentaires : B&G Zeus 3S 12inch, B&G H5000 graphic display et anémomètre, AIS A Simrad V50 35, pilotes automatiques Lecomble&Schmitt et Raymarine, VHF B&G black box…
Les éléments vitaux/important sont redondant ! 2 Pilotes, 2 anémomètres, 2 compas, 2 girouettes, 2 convertisseurs… etc

The brand's flagship, this 59/61-foot catamaran with its timeless lines has made sail-lovers dream. Voted European Boat of the Year by the press in 2013, Roland Jourdain, a great sailor with an impressive track record, even chose it as the base for his We Explore project! In other words, this VPLP design has left its mark!
No. 14 in the series, Mamaru Nui left the OUTREMER workshops in 2016. This beautiful 5X V2 with inverted bows sailed all the way to Polynesia, where her owners spent many happy years.
Following damage to the rudders in 2022, which led to water ingress, the boat underwent a major refit between 2022 and 2023 to bring her back to near-new condition.
Engines, electrical systems, electronics and other components were completely replaced.
Beautifully equipped with a carbon mast, carbon bulkheads, carbon tiller bars and a beautiful Hydranet wardrobe from ELVSTROM. Self-tacking solent, Genoa, Parasailor, Gennaker, nothing is missing for great sailing.
For comfort, a Fischer Panda 1000iPMS generator, 1580 W solar panels, air conditioning, heating, Gaggenau oven, 4-burner induction hob, 8kg washing machine (with drying function), dishwasher, 100l/h desalter.
Finally, the choice of electronics speaks for itself: B&G Zeus 3S 12inch, B&G H5000 graphic display and anemometer, AIS A Simrad V50 35, Lecomble&Schmitt and Raymarine autopilots, VHF B&G black box...
