Sailing across the Atlantic is the adventure of a lifetime. Many people dream of it; some choose to make that dream a reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program<\/h3>\n

Camille Allard<\/strong>, Head of Sailing Experience at Outremer, will chair the round-table discussion on 9 July. Among her guests will be the renowned marine meteorologist Christian Dumard<\/strong>, who will share his advice on sailing the Atlantic in both directions.<\/p>\n

Matthieu Rougevin-Baville<\/strong>, Outremer\u2019s sales director, will discuss sail plan, crew preparation and safety, whilst Maren and Matthias Wagener<\/strong> \u2013 who themselves crossed the Atlantic in 2022 aboard their Outremer 51 Vast \u2013 will bridge the gap between theory and practice by recounting their own experience.<\/p>\n

Because sailing round the world on a catamaran also means looking after your boat, Sylvain Quinton<\/strong>, maintenance manager at Grand Large Services, will answer your most technical questions: what equipment to choose, which spare parts to take on board and where to stop for repairs if necessary.<\/p>\n

During this round-table discussion, you\u2019ll learn more about the unique support offered by Outremer Catamarans to its owners to help them bring their long-distance cruising projects to fruition.<\/p>\n
